Tiffany: The Mark of Excellence. The father created an empire of taste glamour and sophistication.
The son took an ancient art and created modern masterpieces. Charles and Louis Tiffany could hardly have been more different.
Charles was a born businessman; Louis his son a visionary artist with little commercial sense who spent much of his $32 million inheritance
covering his business losses and supporting a lifestyle appropriate to a society figure in the "Gilded Age."
Together they created a legacy of beauty that remains untarnished and unmatched.

We are very excited to have one of our very own stained glass artists and teacher, Stephanie,
give an introductory course on Stained Glass at the museum. As you know, Stephanie, a graduate of Espace Verre and The Alberta
Fine Arts College, teaches Fusion and Beginners and Intermediate Stained Glass here in our studios.
We have been having an increasing number of museum tour groups that have come to have a tour of our store and workshop, to see how a stained glass studio functions and to have a look at the work that we do. If you and your group would like to come and have a 2 hour guided tour of Studio du Verre, for a nominal fee, we have created a special lecture and demo that can be adjusted to fit your particular interests. For more information please contact Stephanie. We can accomodate groups of 10-20 people.
