In this course you will make a stained glass panel(10" by 12") while mastering the art of cutting glass, soldering
techniques and finishing patinas. Each student will receive quality carbide cutter. All materials are included
and all tools are provided.
Beginners: 12 hours – $139 + taxes – materials included
Intermediate: 12 hours - $119, materials extra, glass cutter not included
4 TUESDAY EVENINGS from 6:30 to 9:30 starting: 20 July, 24 August, 28 September
In this course you will make a stained glass panel (10" by 12") using lead came. This is the more traditional technique.
Learn to cut glass, solder etc. A quality carbide cutter and all materials are included. (Intermediate $119, materials and
cutter not included)
7 hours – $69 + taxes – materials included
Saturday from 10:00 to 5:00 12 June, 17 July, 14 August, 11 September
Lead came is becoming more and more popular as traditional windows are increasingly in vogue. Make a colourful leaded
panel using bevels and cathedral glass. Emphasis will be put on leading techniques, soldering, puttying and final cleaning.
Lead came is considered the professional technique and is the method most accepted by architects. Spend a very enjoyable day. All materials are included.
(NB. Pre-requisites: cutting glass, having completed the copper foil and/or lead came beginners classes)

One weekend. Saturdayfrom 10:00 to 4:00 and Sunday from 11:00 to 4:00 25/26 September
During this stimulating course you will build a 12’’x 18’’ stained glass window choosing from
traditional or contemporary designs of various calibers of difficulty.
(NB Pre-requisites: cutting glass, having completed the copper foil and/or lead came I classes)

Learn what the fuss is all about in this mini class. Cook up a wonderful window charmer in just a few hours. Playing with
frit and stringers, powders etc, you will make a creative objet d'art. Be the envy of the neighbourhood by expanding your
stained glass horizons.

One weekend. Saturday from 10:00 to 4:00 Sunday from 11:00 to 4:00, 7/8 August, 18/19 September
John has been teaching this challenging class for several years now. For 2 full days you will be taught the whys and what
fors of fusing. Start with fusing a test strip. Explore the possibilities and combinations of frit powders and frit
granules, noodles and stringers to fire up a fused panel. End the weekend by slumping the creation into a dish mold.

Join with Pierre and make an heirloom Tiffany Lamp using the Odyssey System. Pierre puts alot of emphasis on design and
colour selection using the most beautiful glass we carry. The first two classes will be in developing your design and
choosing colours. The results will inspire you to new heights of glass excellence.

Glass on wood 5 hours - $49 + taxes – material included
Sunday from 11:00 to 4:00 13 June, 18 July, 15 August, 12 September
What a great use for those nice little scraps you've been saving!! Create a mosaic masterpiece in a day! Glass on wood
and glass on glass. Also a demo on the glass in concrete technique. All materials are included.
10 hours – $139 + taxes – material included
28/29 August
Learn about painting on glass while painting a botanical reproduction or a medieval face. Begin with contour lines and
then fire in our glass kiln. Learn to apply grisaille and with a variety of brush and stippling techniques add depth
and shading. Add a dash of silver yellow for effect. Fire a final time and your masterpiece is complete. Materials included.
One day from 11:00 to 3:00 - 109$
11 September
Spend 4 fun hours heating and manipulating glass, ex-ploring the new world of beads. For anyone fascinated by glass
especially moltenglass. Hot head torches will be used. All materials included. Maximum 4 people per course!
Payment in full reserves your place.
There is a 50% charge of the total cost of the course for any cancellations less than 72 hours before the start
of the course.
